How to Improve Your Lead Conversion

Thanks for joining us today. We created this blog to share with you some coaching tips, some things we have learned over the years. 

Today we want to talk to you about the most important part of growing your real estate business, lead conversion. With the advent of online lead generation, even a monkey can generate 1000 leads a month, but a typical agent can handle only about 50 leads per month. 

Our team generates between 300-400 leads a month, but the lead conversion is what is most important. 

For lead conversion, there are 2 primary aspects that we are sure you have heard before, but cannot be understated: Speed of follow up and persistence.

If you call within 5 minutes of getting a lead, you are 92% more likely to convert that lead. We have a system in place where the lead gets a text message instantly and one of our agents follow up within 5 minutes.

We realize that not everyone has access to these resources. If you aren't able to reach your leads that fast, there is technology to help you for as little as $20 a month. If you have any questions about this for us, give us a call. 

Now, onto persistence. We have a great story to share with you about being persistent. Our first million dollar sale was from an internet lead that we called 15 times before we got him on the phone. He was referred to another agent who didn't call him back, but the fact that we called 15 times got us the listing, and a $27,000 commission. 

92% of sales take place after the 8th call, but 95% of people stop calling after 4. If you stop after 4 calls, you are missing out on the bulk of the sales business.

Our team always calls until we reach someone. We use texts, mass texts, voice mail, and email to reach our leads.
