Can a Simple Thank You Note Make All the Difference?

Looking to improve your real estate career? I'm here to help you make a smart decision when it comes to growing your business, improving your bottom line, and choosing a place to work in real estate sales. If you'd like to learn more about working with Clancy Real Estate, contact me at (518) 861-7016 or Kevin@ClancyRealEstate.com.

Today I'm speaking to you from our brand new office that we purchased. We haven't even had a chance to decorate it, but since we purchased the space we can do what we want with it, which would be nice for a change.

However, today I'll be speaking about the elusive power of the Thank You note. I recently received a Thank You note from a previous client (to be honest, a very difficult client with an expired listing) who was responding to a Christmas gift that we try to send out to all of our clients. The point is that I didn't feel as if this client was very happy with us at the time, but in her Thank You note we received two referrals, which ended up in two home sales for us.

When you write Thank You notes effectively, it should make your client feel good, and in turn it will make them feel good referring you to other people.

If you're on a budget and can't afford radio ads or anything too sophisticated on the internet, I urge you to spend fifteen dollars on some Thank You notes and see what it can do for you. People love to see hand written notes, and it will surely have an impact on the people you send them to. Just be sure to send them often, and to a lot of different people that you've done business with.

Spending an hour per day writing these notes might be one of the most productive things you can do. Forming relationships is important in this business, and this is a solid way to do it.

A side note: We're looking to hire another real estate agent with the desire to succeed and make a 6-figure income. We're growing fast and need talent, so give me a call on my cell phone if you think that you would make a good fit.

Otherwise, if you have any questions about Albany real estate, please don't hesitate to contact my team or me. Have a wonderful day!
